What the buyer wrote

This is not a solicitation, and quotes are not being requested.

This procurement is for Shuttle and Valet services and is being conducted in accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) 6.103, Other than full and open competition, and FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. Shuttle and Valet services help Veterans safely access the medical center and minimize barriers to care, which is especially important for Veterans with mobility challenges, chronic conditions, or disabilities. These services include continuous shuttle operations throughout the VALBHCS campus and associated parking areas using buses and carts, as well as full valet parking services.  These services are currently being provided under Contract Number 36C26226P0993, which includes FAR Clause 52.217-8. A four-month extension under this contract is essential to maintain ongoing transportation support pending the outcome of a Government Accountability Office (GAO) protest.
