The notice says BRKT ASSY, LH. You make aircraft brackets.
A search by keyword finds the rows that hold your words, and a notice titled in abbreviations holds none of them. The government files that notice under a NAICS code and a product code, and those two codes are what say it is your work. Describe the work is another way to read Open notices: say what you do in a sentence, and it reads the codes from your words first.
the filter nobody else offers is the last one
A sentence, or a pasted paragraph
Type the work the way you would say it: we machine titanium brackets for aircraft. Or paste a paragraph from a capability statement. It reads the NAICS codes and the product and service codes from what you wrote, by the official titles of the codes themselves, and looks through the open notices or the contracts ending by those codes and those words together.
The rows come closest first, and each one says why it is there: its code, its product code, or the words it holds. The filters a list takes still apply: place of performance, set-aside, notice type and buyer.
- Open notices, or contracts ending: one switch
- Every row carries its reason
- Reached from Find in the menu, from Open notices and from Ask
It shows you what it understood before it shows you a row
Above the results sits what it read: each code as a chip, with the words of the code's own title that matched yours. That list is the reason, and nothing else is.
A chip that reads you wrongly comes off in one press. The search runs again without it and the next closest code is tried in its place. What you took out stays on the screen, one press from going back.
What fits us, and More like this
What fits us reads your company record in place of a sentence: your company name, your primary NAICS code and the codes on your SAM.gov registration. One press, and the notices that fit the company you already told us about.
More like this is a card on a notice. It lists the other open notices and the contracts ending that share that notice's codes and the uncommon words of its title.
Where AI comes into it
The codes are read from the official titles of the codes, with no model. On a paid plan a model may also read what you typed: it is sent the text in the box and nothing else, and every code and word it suggests is marked AI so you can take it out. What fits us and More like this never use a model, and on One Code no model reads your description.
Where it stops
Describe the work is on every plan, One Code included, where it looks through the open notices and the contracts ending in your one code. It is a search by code and by word, so it finds work filed under the codes it read and cannot find a notice the government filed under the wrong one. A contract ending is found by its NAICS code and ranked by its product code. To look for an exact word or a solicitation number, use Open notices.
Where it is in the app
Describe the work, under Intelligence in the menu, in More of the market. Intelligence is the part of LastAwarded that finds the market, one of the eight parts.
