The federal award record is one of the most complete datasets in the country and one of the least readable. We built this to fix the readable part, for a company of one and for a supplier with a BD team.
Why this exists
Suppliers of every size want government and prime contractor work. The data that tells them where that work is has been published for years. The interfaces on top of it were built for contracting officers, not for an owner with an hour on Friday afternoon, and not for a capture manager who needs the whole record in one place without a six-figure contract.
The good products in this space are priced for companies with a business development department, and even they leave most of the listing unread. So we took the entire SAM.gov and USASpending record, every code and every agency, and built it to answer the questions anyone selling to the government asks, at a price that fits a company of one and a scale that fits an enterprise.
Who we are
LastAwarded was founded by Lewis De La Paz on Florida's Space Coast.
We work in this industry, we know its language, and we are surrounded by exactly the suppliers this is for. That shows in the product: it is opinionated, support is direct, and the roadmap is short and honest.
The boundary
Every federal figure in this product comes from an official federal source. Nothing comes from any employer, any internal knowledge, any private contact list or any conversation. That line is not negotiable.
What we believe
- The record is the government's. The value we add is the reading, the cleaning and the joining.
- A small company can win federal work, and a large supplier can win more of it by reading the record it already owns a piece of. Most of the work is recurring, which is exactly what the history shows.
- Honesty compounds. Every number links to its source, every AI text says it is AI, and every gap is named on the site.
- Local density is an asset. The Space Coast is a market and a community, and the product starts here on purpose.
