Florida in numbers
Everything behind these numbers for this state
- Every award performed here, by code, buyer and vendor
- The firms in this state that win federal work
- Buying offices in the state and what they purchase
- Recompetes inside the next twelve months
The numbers above are open to anybody. The organized record behind them is what a plan pays for: every award, every buyer, every vendor, cleaned, resolved and read again every night.
The installations
Naval Air Station Jacksonville hosts Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, one of the Navy's aircraft depots, which buys repair parts, tooling, fixtures and support services on a recurring basis. Naval Station Mayport is home to surface ships and the maintenance activity that supports them. Coast Guard units in the sector buy boat and small craft support. Nearby, across the state line, is the submarine base at Kings Bay.
What local shops tend to win
Machined and fabricated repair parts to drawing, tooling and fixtures for depot lines, coating and plating of overhauled components, and small lots of hardware. Depot work recurs, which makes the recompete table unusually useful here.
