AI-written from the numbers on this page

Most of this code's volume goes to a few buyers, and most of it is very small. DLA Land and Maritime placed 371,828 of the 404,879 awards, but only $135.94M of the $1.71B total. NSWC Crane had the largest dollar total at $222.18M across 2,745 awards. DLA Aviation, Commander, Naval Air Warfare Center, and W6QK ACC WVA also appear among the top buyers. The notice does not say how each buyer chooses between open and restricted buys, so the mix of methods is not clear from this data.

The median award is $47, and the average works out to roughly $4,200. Most work comes in very small orders, and 1,973 distinct vendors shared the record. Most awards carry the code NONE (309,010) or no recorded code at all (84,169). The smaller codes, including SBA (11,295), 8AN (112), HZC (88), SDVOSBC (77), RSB (68), and SBP (33), are a small slice. The notice does not explain what those codes mean, so a firm should not read them as guaranteed openings. Competition looks broad on count, but the notice does not show how many bids each award drew.

For the next year, the 49 active notices and the 189 contracts ending within 12 months, worth $44.25M, are the most useful signals. Those expiring contracts may come back up for bid, but the notice does not say whether they will be recompeted, bundled, or extended. Watch the buyers with the largest dollar totals and the expiring list to see where bigger dollars may move. A firm that wants to track this code should check the active notices regularly and confirm the buyer's plans directly, since this notice does not give them.
